I finally got the graphics tablet I’ve wanted for months! I got the Wacom Bamboo for $129 at OfficeWorks. We had a few issues finding the place, Mum wouldn’t be convinced that we hadn’t passed Bunnings yet, and decided to turn around despite my protest! I’m still having a few control issues, not the fault of the tablet but I’ve yet to get used to it! I had a go at drawing a person, and this is the result. Let me warn you though, its not great.



Now, I’m off to play with my tablet some more!

If you regularly read my blog, you’ve probably noticed that all of the old posts have suddenly disappeared. This was not on purpose, but rather the result of me messing with a multiple blog modification for WordPress. Suffice to say I messed up, and unfortunately the result was that I had to start from scratch. The only thing still in contact was the Sorrowful Unfounded theme. :(

University starts Monday, I’m pretty nervous, but also excited! For those that don’t know I’m doing a Bachelor of Arts (Internet Studies) with Curtin University and Open Universities Australia externally.

The online learning management system the University has decided to employ is WebCT for my courses, but they also have Blackboard available for others. The system leaves a lot to be desired. My biggest gripe is the discussion boards, and how threads are ordered and presented. Its more of a Usenet archive in my opinion. I’ll manage I guess. My NET11 - Internet: Communication’s lecturer-tutor has mentioned that sometime into the study period we’ll be changing to a better forum. Hopefully that occurs, apparently its up to us - the students. So I guess if we do or not will depend on how the other students feel.

Personal life has been pretty boring, and not great unfortunately but I’m still here, and don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
